Publisher Outreach and Approval SOP
An SOP for reviewing, approving, and publishing marketplace placements.
This SOP covers how publishers review, approve, and publish marketplace placements. It ensures editorial control is exercised consistently. See Publisher Operations in the Backlink Marketplace for the full guide.
Objective

Procedure
1Receive the brief
Review the buyer's content brief: topic, target page, anchor guidance, and disclosure requirement.

4Check compliance
Confirm the disclosure label and link attribute (rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow") will be applied.
5Approve or request revisions
Approve if the placement meets all standards. Request revisions if it needs changes. Reject if it cannot meet standards.
6Publish with disclosure
